I recall seeing this on Shark Tank - seemed to work well with the older models of iPhones. This new approach using the power adapter to get around the curvature of the iPhone 6 body isnt producing the same results as what I saw before.
On a very smooth surface it would rotate around (not in a smooth circle, mind you) but the resulting photos produced were not at all crisp/clear, with jagged edges at each point they were stitched like a sawtooth look.
Also the use of the front-facing camera (which you are forced into when in Handsfree mode) is a bad idea - its focal length isnt right for panoramas and the lens is too small for capturing good amounts of light. The option should be there to use the better quality rear camera instead and then you will still need to sort out the vibration movement and clarity of the images produced.
Ill wait to see if there are any meaningful updates from the developers but suspect this will become another app I delete.
